When we started this journey, our vision was to create services that were truly best practice for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior to CSC, our experiences had centered on providing residential services and working with highly behavioral individuals. After supporting hundreds of placements in our career, we knew the formula for a successful group home or Shared Living placement. But day services? That was a huge undertaking.

We started with just an idea- of a Day Service that offered truly meaningful activities for individuals. That idea morphed into the quality services that we provide today. It is not always easy to offer variety and choice consistently for individuals, but it is the right thing to do. You may notice that we use real individual’s photos on our website and Facebook page. We feel that our individuals deserve to be featured. Stock pictures may be pretty, but we find beauty in the realness of each smile. That beauty is worth showcasing.
